Gaia is an F3 (12.5%) cinnamon Savannah cat also born in March of 2003; she comes from Select Exotics cattery in Illinois and her African Serval ancestor is Keystone. As her sire is a Bengal she also as Asian Leopard cat in her, almost entirely from Centerwald so far as I can tell. Gaia came to me considerably older than our other cats and therefore we never got to socialize her as a kitten. As a result, Gaia can be shy to new people and places. However, she is still a very playful and sweet kitty that we love dearly. She may not like to travel with us, but she's always there to greet me when I get home and will chase anything that moves. Gaia can also clear a platform over 5' in the air! Gaia is a quiet, loving kitty and I am honored that she has chosen us to love. She has become increasingly more affectionate and outgoing as she ages, and we are glad for it! When people who knew her a year ago come to visit, they cannot believe that she is the same cat! Gaia can be quite the little mamma's girl when she wants to be, and completely forgets to be shy at any sight of rice, turkey, or cream of chicken soup! She also has a naughty side of her, and has been known to steal over 10 pounds of pork ribs right from the kitchen counter! Gaia gives new light to word “stealth” and always has ways of reminding us when we forget to put things away. To view photos of Gaia growing up between 2003-2006, please click here.
